멋지다. 앞으로도 많은 생일...

Jules: So how did it go?

어떻게 됐어요?

Ben: Well, you have a great kid, Jules. She's adorable.

아주 착한 딸을 뒀어요. 정말 귀여워요.

Jules: Aw. Thank you so much for doing that.

정말 고마워요.

 So you excited about our trip to San Francisco tomorrow? Are you okay?

내일 샌프란시스코 여행은 기대되세요? 

Ben: Yeah.
Jules: Oh, I hope you don't have what Matt has.

Matt처럼 아프신 건 아니어야 할 텐데 

Ben: I don't.
Jules: You sure?
Ben: Positive.

네

Jules: What's that?

그건 뭐에요?

Ben: Blood pressure. I take it every day.

혈압약요, 매일 먹어요

Jules: Are you sure you're okay?

정말 괜찬아요?

Ben: Yeah.
Jules: You don't look like you. You're all flushed. Why don't you go see

안 그런 것 같아요. 지친 기색이 역력하세요 

▷ flush : 얼굴이 확 붉어지다, 물이 왈칵 나오게 하다, 홍조, 흥분

 Fiona, the masseuse, and just chill a little.

마사지사 Fiona한테 가서 잠시 쉬고 오세요. 

▷ chill : 진정하다, 서늘하게 하다, 냉기, 오한, 냉각 

Jason: What's up? Whoa, Ben, you okay? You seem to be slightly malfunctioning.

무슨일이에요. Ben 괜찬아요? 오동작하는 것 같아요 

▷ malfunctioning : 고장나다, 제대로 동작하지 않다 
Jules: Becky. Does he look right to you?

Becky, Ben 선생님 괜찬으신 것 같아?

Ben: Okay. Thank you. I think we're good here. Got a lot of work to do. it's all good.

됐어요, 고마워요 멀쩡해요. 할 일이 많아요 이상 없어요 

Becky: Is it his coloring?

얼굴색? 

Ben: Oh, my God, you're all nuts. I'm 100% Let's move on, kids. Big day. Lots to do.

맙소사, 말도 안 돼 난 멀쩡해요, 가자, 오늘 바쁘잖아요. 

▷ you're all nuts : 다들 제 정신이 아니야. nuts = crazy 

Jules: Okay. Ben, if I am giving you too much to do or working you too hard, 

Ben, 제가 일을 너무 많이 드리거나 혹사시키는 것 같아요

please do not feel that you have to go with me to San Francisco.

저랑 꼭 샌프란시스코에 안 가셔도 돼요 

Ben: Jules, people my age get tired sometimes. That's all this is.

Jules, 내 나이가 되면 때론 피곤해져요. 그게 다예요 

Jules: You're tired? That's why you haven't looked at me once since I came over here?

피곤하세요? 그래서 여기 오신 후 절 한번도 안 쳐다보신 건가요? 

Ben: I'm looking at you.

지금 보고 있잖아요 

Becky: Jules. Cameron's on the phone.

Jules. Cameron 전화예요.

Jules: Okay. Like, if you don't feel better tonight or late... I'm just saying I can go by myself. Okay?

오늘 밤에 컨디션이 안 좋으시면.... 저 혼자 가도 괜찮다는 이야기에요. 아셨죠? 

 I'm a big girl. I'll be fine.

전 어른이니까 괜찮아요

 

Jules: Okay, seriously, Ben, what is it?

Ben 솔직히 왜 그러세요? 

Ben: You know, I'm a sensitive man. People don't think that about me. I don't look it, but I am.

난 예민한 사람이에요. 다른 사람들은 그렇게 보지 않아요 그렇게 보이진 않지만 예민해요 

 Under all this man stuff that you so admire... Mmm-hmm. ...I'm just a big bowl of mush.

겉은 사장님이 좋아하는 남성미로 치장했지만 속에는 아주 예민한 감성이 가득 차 있다고요 

▷ I'm a big bowl of mush : (much : 옥수수죽, 개밥) 큰 그릇속 개밥 = 심경이 복잡해. 

Jules: I know that.

그건 알아요 

Ben: Okay.
Jules: That's it? That's what 24 hours of crazy comes to? That you're a sensitive bowl of mush?

그게 다예요? 그래서 24시간째 이러고 계신 거예요? 예민한 감성의 남자라서요? 

Ben: Jules.
Jules: Ben.
Ben: Jules, what are we doing here? We got the day off. We're traveling in first-class.

Jules, 우리가 지금 뭐하는 거죠? 하루 쉬는 날이고 1등석 타고 여행 중인데 

 Let's at least have a little fun.

좀 즐기자고요

Jules: Now that I can do

그거야 얼마든지 가능하죠

 I can't believe
 I'm saying that, but that's what happened the last time.

내가 이런 말을 하다니. 하지만 지난번엔 그랬어요 

 But he didn't see it coming.

하지만 전혀 예측 못했죠

아빠, 샤워를 겨냥해

 Catch them. And with that, the wedding planner turns to me and goes,

잡아, 그렇게 했더니 웨딩 플래너가 저를 돌아보더니 

 "Hey, do you have the rings?"

반지 있어요?

Woman: Ladies and gentlemen, as we start our descent, 

신사 숙녀 여러분 이제 착륙에 들어갑니다.

▷ descent : 하강 

please make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full, upright positions,

좌석과 앞 받침대 제 위치로 올리셨는지 확인하시고 

and all carry-on luggage is stowed under the seat in front of you.

가방은 좌석 밑에 넣어 주십시요 

▷ stowed : 집어넣다 

Ben: You okay?

괜찬아요?

Jules: Yeah. Just thinking, tomorrow I meet the guy who may become my boss kinda.

내일 제 보스가 될지도 모르는 사람을 만난단 생각이 들어서

 I mean, a lot of people have bosses, right? Most people have bosses.

대부분 사람들은 보스가 있죠? 

Ben: Jules, it's simple.

Jules, 간단해요 

 If you think Townsend is gonna be good for you and good for the company, then do it. And if not...

Townsend가 본인과 회사에 도움이 될것 같으면 고용하세요, 아니면...

Jules: Exactly. Just because I came all the way here...

제가 여기까지 왔다고 ...

Ben: Right. Doesn't mean anything.

맞아요, 그건 아무 상관없어

Jules: I agree. Do you think I can take a Xanax if I had two glasses of wine an hour ago?

맞아요, 한 시간 전에 와인 두 잔 마셔도 항불안제 먹어도 괜찮죠? 

▷ Xanax : 신경안정제

Ben: Well, I'd wait another couple hours.

두어 시간 더 있다가 복용해요 

Jules: It's a thing I do before I land. We're good now.

착륙 전에 먹는 습관이 있어서 지금이면 괜찮을 거예요.
