Lion King 대본 해석 2번째 입니다.
아바 Mufasa와 Simba의 즐거운 한때입니다.
Simba: Dad! Daad! Come on, Dad, we gotta go. Wake up!
아빠, 어서 가야죠, 일어나세요
Random Lioness: Oomph!
Simba: Sorry! ...Oop.
Simba: Dad? Daad. Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad--
Sarabi: Your son..is awake.
당신 아들이 깼어요
Mufasa: Before sunrise, he's YOUR son.
해 뜨기 전엔 당신 아들이야
Simba: Dad? Daad! Come on, Dad! Daa-- Whoa!
Simba: You promised!
약속 했잖아요
Mufasa: Okay, okay. I'm up. I'm up.
알았다, 일어날게
Simba: Yeah!
Mufasa: Look, Simba. Everything the light touches is out kingdom.
봐라 심바, 햇빛이 닿는 곳은 전부 우리의 영토다
Simba: Wow.
Mufasa: A king's time as ruler rises and falls like the sun.
지도자인 왕도 태양처럼 뜨고 진단다
▷ ruler : 통치자
One day, Simba, the sun will set on my time here,and will rise with you as the new king.
언젠가 나의 시대는 가고(태양이 나의 시간을 올려 놓았다), 너의 시대가 올 것이다.
▷ set on : ~에 마음을 기울이다.
Simba: And this will all be mine?
그럼 이게 전부 내 것이 돼요?
Mufasa: Everything.
Simba: Everything the light touches. What about that shadowy place?
빛이 닿는 곳은 전부... 저쪽 그늘진 곳은요?
Mufasa: That's beyond our borders. You must never go there, Simba.
그곳은 경계 밖이다. 절대 가면 안돼, 심바
Simba: But I thought a king can do whatever he wants.
왕은 뭐든 할 수 있는 줄 알았는데
Mufasa: Oh, there's more to being king than... getting your way all the time.
왕에겐 권력보다 더 중요한 게 있다.
▷ get your way : 너의 마음대로 하다.
Simba: There's more?
더 중요한 것?
Mufasa: Simba...
Mufasa: Everything you see exists together, in a delicate balance.
세상 모든것은 미묘한 균형을 이루며 공존하고 있다.
▷ delicate : 섬세한, 연약한
As king, you need to understand that balance, and respect all the creatures--from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope.
왕은 이 균형을 이해하고 모든 생명을 존중해야 해. 조그만 개미부터 커다란 영양까지...
▷ crawl : 기어가다, 벼룩
▷ heap : 껑충 뛰다, 날뛰다.
Simba: But, Dad, don't we eat the antelope?
하지만 우린 영양을 먹고살잖아요?
▷ antelope : 영양
Mufasa: Yes, Simba, but let me explain. When we die, our bodies become the grass. And the antelope eat the grass.
맞아 심바, 하지만 우린 죽어서 풀이되고 들소는 그 풀을 먹지
And so we are all connected in the great Circle of Life.
결국 우린 모두 자연의 섭리 속에 사는 거야
Zazu: Good morning, sire!
일어나셨습니까, 전하
Mufasa: Good morning, Zazu.
Zazu: Checking in... with the morning report.
아침 보고를 드리겠습니다.
Mufasa: Fire away.
시작하게

Intern 에서도 Ben이 인터뷰 볼때 사용하던 표현이군요...

벌들이 난리를 첬던 건 표범 때문이었습니다.
Mufasa: Oh, really?

원숭이가 날뛰고 있습니다.

뭐하는 거냐?
Simba: Pouncing.
사냥이요

이 아빠가 한 수 가르쳐 주마
Zazu: ...The tick birds are pecking on the elephants. I told the elephants to forget it, but they can't...
찌르레기가 코끼리를 쪼았는데 코끼린 용서 못 하겠답니다.
Mufasa: Zazu, would you turn around?
자주, 잠깐 돌아서 주겠나?
Zazu: Yes, sire. The cheetahs are hard up, but I always say ...
Mufasa: Stay low to the ground.
바닥에 낮게 엎드려라
Zazu: Cheetahs never prosper...
Simba: Okay, stay low to the ground, right... yeah...
납작하게 엎드려서요
Zazu: What going on?
뭐하시는 거죠?
Mufasa: A pouncing lesson.
사냥 연습
Zazu: Oh very good. Pouncing. Pouncing!?! Oh no, sire, you can't be serious...
좋네요.. 사냥? 설마 진담은 아니시겠죠?
Zazu: Oh... this is so humiliating.
아, 자존심 상해
▷ humiliating : 굴욕적인, 면목 없는
Mufasa: Try not to make a sound.
Zazu: What are you telling him, Mufasa? Mufasa? Simba?
뭐라고 하셨죠, 폐하?
Mufasa: Ha ha ha ha ha. That's very good. Ha ha ha...
Gopher: Zazu!
Zazu: Yes?
Gopher: Sir. News from the underground.
땅속 소식입니다.
Mufasa: Now, this time--
Zazu: Sire! Hyenas! In the Pride Lands!
전하, 하이에나가 우리 땅에 왔답니다.
Mufasa: Zazu, take Simba home.
자주, 심바를 데리고 집에 가라
Simba: Oh, Dad, can't I come?
전 가면 안 돼요?
Mufasa: No, son.
Simba: I never get to go anywhere.
난 뭐든 못 하게 해
Zazu: Oh, young master, one day you will be king; then you can chase those slobbering mangy stupid poachers from dawn until dusk.
나중에 왕이 되시면, 그때 저 더럽고 교활하고 멍청한 하이네나를 혼내세요
▷ slobber : 군침을 흘리다
▷ mangy : 지저분한, 낡아빠진, 열악한
▷ poacher : 밀렵꾼, 침입자
